What the content is
Everything here is editorial opinion and compiled public information, published for general guidance. Specifications are read from manufacturers' published material on the date stated on each page, and manufacturers change specifications without notice.
We do not test the products we write about, we say so on the methodology page, and no page here should be read as a claim of hands-on evaluation. Verify anything that matters to your purchase against the manufacturer's current documentation before you buy.
What the content is not
- Not safety advice. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific product, especially on temperature limits and care.
- Not medical or health advice. Pages discussing coating chemistry summarize published regulatory positions. They are not a health assessment for your circumstances.
- Not a guarantee of price or availability. Prices shown come from a live feed and change constantly. The retailer's price at the moment you buy is the only one that counts.
Accuracy and errors
We work carefully from primary sources and we will still get things wrong sometimes. We make no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free. When you tell us about an error we correct it and note the correction, as described in the editorial policy.
